I wanted to bake a flavored bread loaf from a long time..... When, I say long time, it really means a very long time... Well, I had this desire from around a year.. But, somehow I was never able to do it... When I learnt this month's theme is whole grain, I knew what I am going to bake, as I have already baked it in my mind, lot of times.... I actually wanted to make Quinoa bread.... Right from starting everything was working perfectly fine... But, don't know where did I went wrong.. After coming out of Oven, the bread went down from the center... It was also tasting as it is half cooked, but I did bake it for 40-45 minutes, and the bread was brown in color, when I took it out from Oven... I need to again bake the same bread, and see what actually made my bread to sink in center.. So, I decided to shift for another plan, and bake bread with another Whole grain- Oats.... This one worked out perfect.... I didn't refer any recipe for this one, just worked on my instinct...

Vegetables are so nutritious... So, many wide variety of veggies are available in the stores. The only problem, is how to make these kids eat them. Mine just want to stay away from veggies, and only thing she likes to eat is Macaroni and Cheese. Well, I just can't give Macaroni and Cheese in all meals... So, started making veggies in different ways, which now she not only like it, she eats the whole meal by herself.. And no more, arguments on the dinner table.. Yayyyyy.. Do you know, Broccoli has a lots of Vitamin C and dietary fiber. It also has lots of nutrients, which has a anti cancer properties... I use it all the time in my recipes, but my little kid just do not want to eat these little trees.... They are out of her plate, as soon as she sees them... So, experimented some options to make her eat Broccoli.. And this is the 1 idea, which is super-duper hit with her... Yummy delicious Broccoli Parantha.. Oatmeal is one of my favorite breakfast... Traditional rolled Oats boiled in microwave in water, sufficient enough to soak Oats, with a dash of cold milk and 4-5 tbsp of Honey Bunches of Oats sprinkled on top... Yummmm... But, my problem is, even after knowing benefits of Oats, my hubby just avoid eating them.. So, was thinking of how to include Oats in his daily meal.. And then, this month's event of bread baking, made me thinking, and then I knew what exactly I need to do.. This idea is completely mine... So, thought of experimenting and see, how does it work.. And, I am really very-very happy to share that it was too yumm, and super-duper hit at my home... It was soft, as well as chewy at the same time... #BreadBakers is a group of bread loving bakers who get together once a month to bake bread with a common ingredient or theme. Life is sometimes so unpredictable. 2 weeks back, when my Kiddo's school was closing for a Spring Break, I was quite happy... I thought I will get more time, and will explore more in different cuisines.. But, things never actually happen the way you want them too.. 2 days of Spring break, was awesome.. And then, came the most dreaded days and nights for me and my Kiddo. She was already having cold, but then she was ok, and all the symptoms says it's a regular cold and cough. I was doing everything I could do to give her relief, but then suddenly on 3rd day, her fever started and she became dull... I called up on my Insurance Nurseline, they scared me, and asked me to take her to Urgent Care... Those first 3 days of her illness, was too scary... And slowly, she started coming back to herself again... My plans of all the cooking, went into vain, as I was completely concentrating on her.... Frankly speaking, I was too worried for her, to think about cooking... Well, time pass...

Los Angeles- A big city. Lots of place to be seen. If a person goes every weekend to roam, then also it will take him/her about half of an year to see every place in L.A. and in it's neighboring counties. We stayed there for about 3 years, but still haven't seen all beautiful cities of the city. Each and every trips were good, and memorable trips with friends and families. Lots and lots of beautiful memories to cherish. Well, in one of these trips, we went with a friend and her mom. We prefer to take food of 1 time with us, so that we do not have to make kids eat outside in restaurant all the time. So, this Auntie of ours, made this delicious Shahi Chawal. It was too yummy. Normally, it has to be eaten hot, but since we were on trip we ate it cold and still it was too tasty to be forgotten after a trip. Well, I made this lot of times at home, but this twist with Mango is my new discovery. The taste of juicy sweet Mango, blends well with the taste of Ghee and Milk. This re...
