Aloo Matar Paneer
We all say, potato is not good for our health, it has starch but do not have any good properties, and do not eat potatoes especially when you are reducing your weight. But, there are some important facts of Potatoes which we have always ignored.

Ingredients -

- Potatoes (peeled) - 2 medium (diced)
- Paneer - 1 cup (cut in cubes)
- Peas - 1 cup
- Garlic - 3-4 cloves
- Onion - 1 medium
- Tomato paste - 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1tsp
- Red Chilli Powder -1/2 tsp
- Almond Paste - 2 tbsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1tsp
Directions -
- Grind onion, garlic and ginger, together.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and saute till lightly browned.
- Dice potatoes.
- Add the ground paste to the pan and saute till lightly browned, stirring frequently.
- Add potatoes, salt and turmeric powder and mix. Add ¼ cup water and mix well. Cover and cook till potatoes are almost done.
- Cut paneer into small cubes. Add coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix.
- Add tomato puree and mix. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add green peas and mix. Cover and cook till the vegetables are done.
- Add Almond paste and mix well. And paneer and mix.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder and serve hot with roti.
