Apple Cake

Hello Guys, how are you all this thanksgiving? I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is said to be a day to say thanks to anyone or everyone, to whom you are grateful for anything or something. I am thankful to all my friends and family over here, who have encouraged enough that my love for cooking turn into a my love for sharing the recipes.

This recipe of Apple Cake is devoted to an amazing lady and an awesome mother, who is also a mother of my Daughter's dear friend. Thanx Eden, for sharing this amazing recipe with us.

Ingredients - 
  1. Apple- 1 (chopped) + 2 (grated)
  2. Baking Powder - 1tsp
  3. Cinnamon Powder - 1tsp
  4. All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 1 Cup
  5. Milk Powder - 1 cup
  6. Olive Oil  - 1 cup
  7. Sugar - 1 cup
  8. Cashews - 1/2 cup
  9. Milk - 1/2 cup (as required)
Directions -
  •  Mix All Purpose Flour with a Milk Powder and Baking Powder.
  • Add Olive Oil with Sugar and Cinnamon Powder, mix it until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add grated apple in the sugar mixture.
  • Slowly, add Flour mixture in to the sugar mixture. Stir in gently, to remove all the lumps.
  • Add Milk as required, to make the batter.
  • Stir the mixture for another 10 minutes, till the batter starts leaving bubbles.
  • Add in Apple pieces and Cashews.
  • Preheat the Oven for 5 minutes on 350 degrees.
  • Transfer the batter to the cake pan.
  • Cook for another 20-25 minutes, till the toothpick starts coming out clear from the center of the cake.
  • Enjoy it at room temperature.
